We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Affinity for Salesforce (A4S) product team as we expand and grow the next phase of our product lines. Affinity for Salesforce enables companies to leverage Affinity’s Relationship Intelligence through our integration and automations to leverage the power of their networks. We use technology to amplify human relationships by providing data and insights that enable people to connect and take action with confidence. At Affinity, you’ll have the opportunity to fundamentally change the way people leverage their relationships to do business.
As the A4S Senior Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the product discovery, definition, development, and strategy related to our Salesforce product. A4S is in its early days and should be considered a zero-to-one product, and as such you will be very hands on with prospects and customers as they evaluate and give feedback on the product. You will need to recognize the roles of the purchaser/decision maker, the end user, the IT influencer and the admin, navigating among all of them as you develop a product roadmap and go-to-market plan.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with design, engineering and other product teams through every part of product development. You will own the product roadmap and be responsible for measuring customer and business impact. You will partner with cross-functional teams to conduct research, run experiments, lead teams through design and engineering sprints, define success metrics, measure impact and ultimately ship things with the biggest impact on user outcomes.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Drive the research, conceptualization, and execution of enhancements and features for our customers, ensuring effective user experiences aligning with business goals.
- Develop and maintain the A4S product roadmap for users and organizations.
- Foster a deep understanding of user needs through user research and engagement with sales, marketing, customer success and direct customer interactions.
- Synthesize user feedback into novel product ideas to drive continuous improvement and innovation for permissions, authentication, and security.
- Assess product trade-offs and champion your positions as a strategic leader.
- Own documentation that encompasses product strategy, business cases, use cases and technical specifications.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of user requirements and outcome-based metrics to shape and define the platform product roadmap.
- Transform product roadmap into precise requirements for prototyping and development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead a collaborative partnership with design and engineering teams to oversee the product backlog and guide the product roadmap.
We’re excited about you because you have:
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every qualification. At Affinity, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role, but your past experience doesn’t perfectly align with the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
- 6+ years of hands-on product management experience with at least 2 years within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience working on zero-to-one products, or leading experiment-based concepts and prototyping quickly to validate ideas before development.
- B2B SaaS experience.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and owning key components to running a successful business.
- Demonstrated experience in driving cross-functional collaboration with engineering and design teams to deliver tangible business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills that facilitate seamless teamwork and alignment on key objectives and outcomes.
- Strong sense of empathy and user-centered thinking, with a deep appreciation for understanding user needs and challenges.
- Proven track record of utilizing design thinking principles and effective prioritization techniques.
- Genuine passion for Affinity's mission and products.
