The Role:
Morning Consult is searching for a visionary and dynamic Senior Sales Enablement Manager to pioneer our first sales enablement function from the ground up. As the first member of our Sales Enablement team, you will be instrumental in shaping the framework for training and development initiatives, with a primary focus on our innovative SaaS products. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the architect of a transformative function, driving the evaluation of our Sales teams’ capabilities.
You'll leverage your expertise to swiftly assess knowledge gaps within the Sales team, creating and implementing targeted processes and training programs to elevate their performance. You’ll partner closely with leadership across Sales, Marketing, Product and People teams to support growth and development strategies. A key aspect of this role involves meticulous impact tracking, ensuring that our enablement efforts directly contribute to the success of our sales initiatives.

The Business Development Team at Morning Consult:
This role will be within the Business Development team reporting to our SVP of Sales. The Business Development team is part of the Commercial division at Morning Consult. We build key relationships, think strategically about the issues clients and prospects are facing and generate the momentum needed to deliver quality intelligence that will help our clients “win.” Our aim is to drive sustainable growth across our entire portfolio of business in close partnership with Commercial division teammates.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Crafting best-in-class sales playbooks, documenting best practices tailored to each stage of the sales cycle to empower our sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate our sales processes
  • Spearheading the standardization and delivery of compelling product decks, demos and call scripts, ensuring consistency in client messaging
  • Designing and managing a dynamic onboarding and reboarding program for Account Executives to foster a high-performance culture and ensure continuous growth and adaptability within our team
  • Leveraging and managing content from the Gong library to distill actionable insights and uncover valuable patterns that drive sales effectiveness
  • Performing such other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time at the Company’s discretion

About You and What You've Done:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in sales enablement, with expertise in developing and implementing transformative strategies that elevate sales teams
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS startup
  • Experience successfully building sales enablement programs from inception
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce tools and processes to optimize performance
  • Feedback-driven growth mindset with an ethos of continuous self-improvement

The expected salary range for this position is $107,500 - $174,900, with a midpoint of $141,200.
In most cases, we target the midpoint of our salary ranges for new hire compensation. This placement is reflective of full proficiency in a role. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation and an equity grant which will be discussed in your initial recruiter conversation.
