Tegus (Chicago, IL) seeks a Strategy and Operations Lead to maintain the Company’s Operating Model, support data-driven decision making, execute on strategic initiatives, and present insights to executive teams. Specific duties include: own aspects of the Tegus Operating Model including, but not limited to, resource and capacity planning, performance management, customer segmentation, and forecasting; build dashboards and tools that provide insight into the health of the business for executive team and line managers; conduct strategic analysis to provide effectively communicated recommendations for key operational decisions; collaborate with operations leadership in addition to product, sales, and compliance teams to impact change and execute cross-functional initiatives; assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; and propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes. Option to work remotely is available.
Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Business Data Analytics, Technology Management or a closely related field of study, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Analyst, Analyst – Customer Operations, or similar position in consulting, corporate strategy, or a high-growth startup. Specific experience must include: applying analytical and data management tools in Excel, including pivot tables and charts, solver, and VBA and macros; applying analytical skills in SQL; working with data structures and data management methods, including RDBS principles, tidy data, and ETL development; working with Python or R; handling multiple projects at once while making project strategy decisions; working with process mapping and development, including Lean Six Sigma; applying creative problem solving skills; delivering presentations and materials to an executive audience; and interacting with all levels of the company to influence company operations.
