Business Performance Analyst Intern (F/M/D)

6 months full time internship, starting in Januray, based in Paris

About the role

Vestiaire Collective is looking for an intern with strong data and business analysis skills, to work in the business performance team as a Business Performance Analyst intern.

The business performance team is responsible for providing a 360° vision of Vestiaire Collective’s short-term and midterm performance, as well as leveraging analysis to identify and deploy opportunities to grow the business in GMV (Gross Merchant Value) and profitability.

Using your data analytics and technical skills, you will improve our reports, forecasts and drive cross market deep dives to support strategic decision making. You are entrepreneurial, a self-starter, comfortable both working independently as well as collaborating across teams. You are keen on diving head first into a fast-growing, global fashion tech business!

This is a full-time role based out of our Paris office reporting to the VP Business Performance.

What you’ll do

You will work on multiple projects to improve the overall performance of the business on a daily basis, leveraging data analysis and data models to provide insights, to raise potential issues/warnings linked to performance and to predict mid-term evolution of our different business units in terms of growth and profitability.

Also, you will be involved in communicating to other teams results and strategies to deploy.

Projects you will work on include:

• collaborating with heads of regions to help them understand trends and opportunities for their markets
• time series analysis to forecast trends in multiple regions of Europe
• daily monitoring of KPIs, to control how the business is growing
• leading analysis to assess impacts of strategical’s choices on performance (incremental generated, cannibalization, profitability)
• traffic analysis to understand pain points/opportunities regarding traffic sources leading users to come on Vestiaire Collective

Who you are

We are looking for a motivated, proactive intern, willing to learn and be challenged in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• You are currently enrolled in a Master degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience.
• You are looking for a 6 month internship.
• You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills, attention to details and critical mindset.
• Technical knowledge with SQL, Excel and Python to hit the ground running when the internship starts.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken.

Appetite for fashion and ecommerce is a plus, as you need to be motivated to fulfill the mission of Vestiaire Collective to transform the fashion industry for a more sustainable future.
