Job Description:

As the Creative Director for Vestiaire Collective, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the overall creative strategy. You will be responsible for driving the artistic direction, creating cut-through campaigns and maintaining the brand's identity across various platforms, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing customer experience. You will lead a team of copywriters, stylists, designers, photographers, and content creators to produce captivating content and impactful campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the creative vision: Define the overall creative direction, including visual aesthetics, branding, and messaging, to align with the company's goals and target audience.
  • Lead and manage a creative team: Supervise and mentor designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators, inspiring their creativity and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Branding and visual identity: Maintain and enhance the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistent and impactful representation across all channels, including website, social media, advertising campaigns, and packaging.
  • Campaign conception: Develop breakthrough ideas for different campaigns to catch attention in a crowded space through a high degree of creativity.
  • Content, creation and curation: Oversee the creation of visually stunning and engaging content, including product photography, editorial shoots, videos, social media assets, and marketing collateral.
  • Trend forecasting and market research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior, translating insights into innovative and appealing creative strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align creative efforts with business objectives and ensure a cohesive brand experience.
  • User experience optimization: Continuously improve the user experience by leveraging design best practices, user feedback, and analytics to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of our e-commerce platform.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage the creative budget, allocating resources effectively and optimizing ROI while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in a creative leadership role, preferably within the fashion industry or e-commerce sector in-house or in an agency.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects, including branding, digital campaigns, product photography, and visual merchandising.
  • Outstanding video production skills (for paid and organic assets) and a digital first approach are a must.
  • Proficiency in design software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with web design principles and CMS platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a creative team.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell creative concepts to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics and an eye for quality and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
