About the role 🖥️

  • The Consignment team offers Vestiaire Collective’s VIP customers a white-glove selling service: We manage everything from at-home collections, copywriting, photography, price management, storage and shipping on behalf of our clients. We are looking for a VIP Consignment Key Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, who can work to generate relevant leads and drive new business to help grow the US business. This role will be based in New York City.

What you will do 👜

  • Build a database of new VIP leads to convert and drive submissions volumes for VIP. Leverage your network and/ or seek out new VIP consignors using your business development skills
  • Initiate new commercial relationships and business development initiatives (events, partnerships) to create passive VIP lead generators
  • Devise and implement reactivation and referral campaigns to boost business and ensure sustained growth
  • Become an expert on the VIP submissions process to provide assistance to KAM when needed
  • Be the spokesperson for the VIP service at brand activations as well as industry events.
  • Support on VIP Events where needed
  • Exceed targets by effectively managing your time and converting new leads into VIP clients
  • Provide excellent assistance to clients and handle any queries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Foster strong relationships with VIP clients to enhance retention, increase repeat deposits, and drive sales.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the business at all times including during at-home appointments with top clients, curating their finest luxury goods, and offering expert guidance on our services.
  • Optimize your clients’ catalog to ensure rapid and successful sales.

Who you are ⭐

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in luxury retail or customer-facing luxury sales roles
  • You are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced start-up environment and has an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
  • Access to network of potential clients or the ability to quickly build networks and referrals
  • Enthusiastic about the luxury industry, with a keen understanding of luxury customer needs and extensive knowledge of fashion trends
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at representing Vestiaire’s values and communicating effectively with demanding clients
  • Experience working with Google Suite (docs, sheets and slides)
  • Great communication skills and the willingness and ability to wear multiple hats.
