About the role 🖥️As part of the Crawley team the role will involve assisting the photographer in setting up items in order to photograph the item to go live on our website . The role will allow the Photographers Assistant to be introduced to the basics of photography.
What you’ll do👜
- Assist with setting up cameras, lighting, and other photography equipment.
- Help with organizing and managing photo shoots, ensuring smooth transitions between setups.
- Provide creative input and assist with adjusting props, lighting, or backdrops.
- Ensure products are prepped and ready for shooting.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- You will also be trained on Copywriting and Picking/Packing in the warehouse in order to cover for peak periods.
Who you are⭐
- Prior experience in photography or a similar creative role is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of photography equipment, lighting, and camera settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, and stand for long periods during shoots.
- Passion for photography and the creative process, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- You are flexible with strong team spirit: you don’t mind helping other teams when needed.
