About the role 🖥️
Vestiaire Collective is currently looking for a Digital Authentication Associate, to ensure digital authentication.
They guarantee the origin of the products present in the catalog thanks to the controls they carry out and their product expertise.
We are recruiting for a 6 month fixed-term contract (CDD), in 35h or 25h, based in Paris and reporting to the Digital Authentication Team Leader.
Hours of work:
For 35h contract: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. In the office, and working from home on Thursday + Friday.
For 25h contract: Tuesday to Friday from 5pm to 9pm + Saturday 9am to 5pm. Fully working from home.
What you'll do 👜
- Ensure all the necessary controls in compliance with the Vestiaire Collective specifications to determine the authenticity of a product
- Accurately identify the technical elements of the product to control its traceability and integrity (manufacturing materials, fastenings, serial numbers, hallmarks, creator, dating, collection, material ...)
- Master digital processes
- Intervene as a trusted third party between the buyer and the seller in case of doubt about the origin of a product
- Ensure a permanent watch to update its technical knowledge (trends, Houses, collections, fashion shows...) and share it with the team
- Be part in all trainings in order to update and maintain the authentication knowledge
Who you are ⭐
- Profile :
- Coming from a specialized Training In Fashion-Luxury you have a first experience in a fashion environment (e.g. design, auctions, store / designer, crafts)
- You have a strong sensitivity product, materials, an "eye"
- You have a knowledge of fashion and luxury: actors, history, materials
- You have a strong interest, which you maintain, for Fashion including vintage, jewelry and accessories (second hand, a plus)
- Agility is an essential quality to support us in our development and the constant evolution of our processes
- You speak and write French (fluently) & English (basics of technical fashion vocabulary)
- You are passionate, curious, meticulous
