About the role 🖥️
You will be part of our Product Design & User Research team in a creative and collaborative environment dedicated to design, user experience and user research within the Product team. Your role will be to be the strategic leader of user research, ensuring we all conduct research activities optimally, and leverage the right user insights in order to prioritize product decisions, inform business strategy, guide design and influence the overall user experience.
What you will do 👜
- Coach and validate research activities from framing to analysis, done by Product team members and potentially other teams (Marketing, Sustainability, ….)
- Empower the teams to run their own user research activities with a certain level of quality and act upon their insights
- Maintain our existing Insights Repository with well-crafted insights coming from surveys, qualitative research, main data points, app reviews, etc.
- As a research expert you will have some research activities to conduct directly from A to Z (up to 40% of your time)
- Animate and communicate about user insights (newsletter, panels, …)
- Being an advocate for user-centricity, you will influence our product approach to help prioritize main user needs and pain points
Who you are ⭐
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a User research role in Product or Tech companies context
This can be for a Senior User researcher or Lead level DOE
- You identify as a User researcher and even a UX researcher, not a market research expert. You can do consumer research but you are passionate about the UX side of things. You can run surveys, interviews and any research centered around detailed prototypes.
- Autonomous and organized, you will be able to support research on day-to-day projects
- You have a broad knowledge of qualitative/quantitative research methods as well as a range of research tools (e.g. UserTesting or equivalent)
- You are able to analyze and connect data/analytics to user behaviors to provide holistic insights
- You can take a UX design question and autonomously design research approaches to find its answer
- You are used to leverage product screens (prototypes or existing apps) as a support for research and testing and know how to dive into UX questions
- You are fluent in English, our working language at Vestiaire Collective, and have no problem conducting interviews with users from around the world.
